Finnish Joulupukki and Russian Ded Moroz met each other nearby the state border. Traditional meeting between Joulupukki and Ded Moroz was held at the Finnish-Russian border in Niirala. It is ineresting to know that Snow Maiden came togever with Ded Moroz, according to the publication Yle. “Colleagues” wished the people–neighbors Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Finnish and Russian kids welcomed “grandfathers’ songs and received gifts from them. It also reported that a truck with the Finnish gifts for children of Karelian town Sortavala went through the border check Niirala.
