Residents of Russia on the night of August 13 will be able to see the Perseid meteor rain when a partial eclipse of the Sun takes place.

A partial eclipse of the Sun with a maximum phase of 0.74 will be seen in the north and east of Russia. From the 12th to the 13th of August the most beautiful starfall of the year awaits us, because for this night there is a maximum of activity of the Perseid meteor shower.

According to the forecasts of the International Meteor Organization, it will be possible to observe up to 100 meteors per hour, of course, NOT in the city.
