400 athletes in 17 age categories, 8 relay teams and from 33 countries of the world within three days will show the abilities in ice swimming in Murmansk. From March 15 to March 17, 2019 the capital of the Polar region for the second time hosts the unique World Cup in ice swimmings. The first took place in 2015, and the second in the 2017th in the German city of Burghausen (Bavaria). And here it is returned and, moreover, gives start to a new competition – to the I Cup of the Arctic on ice swimming for participants from Russia.
On March 15, Friday
07.00-10.00 – medical examination of swimmers and admission to participation in competitions.
09.00-11.00 – heats on 1000 m (the III ice swimming World Cup)
11.30-12.00 – opening ceremony (Semenovsky lake)
The I Cup of the Arctic on ice swimming (the Semenovsky lake)
12.10-14.30 – heats on 500 premium m
14.30-15.30 – heats on 100 m a breast stroke
15.30-17.00 – heats on 200 premium m
17.00-17:30 – relay 4 x 50 premium m
17.45-18.15 – an awards ceremony of winners and prize-winners (the platform before Lapland)
On March 16, Saturday
The III ice swimming World Cup (Semenovsky lake)
7.00-12.00 – medical examination of swimmers and admission to participation in competitions
9.00-16.00 – heats on 1000 m
19.00-21.00 – festive program and awards ceremony of absolute winners and prize-winners (Pyat Ugol Square)
21.00-22.00 – awards ceremony of winners and prize-winners (lobby halls of Azimouth hotel, 2nd floor)
On March 17, Sunday

10.00-11.00 – heats on 50 m a breast stroke
11.10-12.00 – heats on 50 m butterfly stroke
12.10-13.30 – heats on 50 m freestyle
14.00–15.00 – team relay 4 x 250 m (3 ice swimming World Cup)
15.30-17.00 – gala concert and awards ceremony of winners and prize-winners (assembly hall of Lapland)
