In the Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore on September 2 at 11:00 will be “Open Day”.
For visitors there will be stationary expositions, temporary exhibitions “The Red Book of the Murmansk Region through the Eyes of Children” and “The Memory of the First Mayor of Murmansk, O.P. Naidenov.”
On this day, two training programs will again be shown: “Nature of the Murmansk region”, telling about the geographical situation and climate, and “History of Murmansk”, which tells about the main stages of the city’s development. The first film will be shown at 14:00, the second at 16:00.
During the day there will be guided tours with master classes on the themes “Variety of flora and fauna” (12:00) and “Life and life of the Saami and Pomor people” (15:00). Within the framework of master classes, visitors will create thematic postcards and Pomorian amulets.
