Countries with visa-free entry to Russia
Citizens of some countries do not require a visa for entry to the Russian Federation, but in most cases the duration of their stay in the territory of Russia is limited. For entry into Russia for a longer period is required visa.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on October 2015 a visa-free entry to Russia was established for citizens of 106 countries, including 37-mi – ordinary passports; More citizens of 36 countries Russian visa can be issued in a simplified manner. Negotiations with 40 countries on the facilitation of visa formalities, including with 24 – on the abolition of visas.
